After an easy drive to Skopje, Macedonia, we went to one of the most popular lunch spots- Kebapclinica Destan, a kebap house. Pleasantly bitter local lager. Grilled spicy peppers, onions, baked beans, chewy Pita bread, creamy baked beans, and sheeps milk yogurt- all the fixings for our grilled kebap. Grilled kebap- spiced, grilled beef. Mmm! our bill came to about €16- expensive compared to Kosovo. The famous Art Bridge- lined with sculptures of famous artists from Macedonia. They even honor teachers… what a difference from America where most people think we’re “overpaid babysitters” 😥Because this isn’t creepy at all…We couldn’t miss the local brewery 😊
