Mustard tasting

Our exchange partners have a large collection of mustards, so we decided to have a pretzel and mustard tasting!

   After much bourbon and deliberation, we’ve decided that the third mustard (upper right corner) is best. It has a nice balance of sweet and tart with a good, warm spicy finish. ☺️

One of my favorite things

Crispy, gooey, crunchy, melty, amazingly perfect grilled cheese? Yes please!!!! Served with apple slices just like in the second grade. We also tried a little treat we bought in Riga- Black Balsam. It’s an herbal liquor that has been made in Latvia since 1752. We really like it! It’s quite bitter and herbal. A perfect aperitif or digestif.
