Second breakfast

After leaving the airport, we enjoyed a lovely drive from Munich to our new home in Landsberg am Lech, about an hour’s drive. Surprisingly, Germany looks a lot like Illinois! We stopped by the local Aldi and picked up a few staples before heading to our new home. We love our new place! It’s clean and modern with a beautiful garden and two very friendly cats Franzy and Henry. (Pics coming soon)

We were both tired and hungry, so I threw together a quick second breakfast- toasted brown bread with tomatoes, herbed cheese (similar to Borsin), Gutsdammer cheese (similar to Swiss cheese), and a few slices of salami. Quick and tasty! We ate in the garden πŸ™‚
