WOW! This is a good one! Maybe the best meal in France yet! We went to Chambery for the day and enjoyed all the amazing sites – Elephant fountain, world’s largest collection of Trompe-l’œil, and beautiful Roman pedestrian alleys.
We ate lunch at a lovely restaurant that was highly recommended by the Michelin Guide. It was sooo good! We started with the salad of the day which featured fresh greens, pine nuts, duck pastrami, and pan fried duck innards (heart maybe?) all dressed with an excellent balsamic vinaigrette. Then we had the Plat du Jour which was slow roasted pork tenderloin and creamy potatoes with bacon and onions…wow! Everything was so BIG and so GOOD! Then we had dessert a wonderful, sweet-tart apricot tart, and espresso of course:) AMAZING!
I would have to agree to how great it looks. when I scrolled down the pictures and saw this come up, I thought now that looks like a great dinner!!! The only subtraction I would make would be the duck innards ( you probably guessed that). It looks amazing:) You will be so happy that you did this food blog so you can remember all you ate etc.
